STEP #1
Identify the item up for auction that you wish to bid on.

STEP #2
Log on or register if new to Colinsworth Authentication.

STEP #3
Enter the auction identification number for the item on which you wish to bid along with your maximum bid.

STEP #4
Colinsworth Authenticators will affirm that the auction ID number you entered is for the item you wish to bid on. (We wouldn't want a typographical error or other mistake to result in you winning an auction on an item you don't want.)

STEP #5
Colinsworth Authentication will have your credit card pre-approved for your maximum bid plus fees, but will not charge your card unless you win the auction.

STEP #6
Colinsworth Authentication contacts the seller on your behalf, letting them know that they have a buyer who wants to bid on their item, but wants the seller to agree to our authentication services terms to allow validation that the item is genuine.

STEP #7
Once the seller agrees to have their item authenticated, Colinsworth Authentication places a bid on your behalf.

STEP #8
If we secure the winning bid, your credit card is charged, and the seller sends the item to Colinsworth Authentication, where our expert authenticators examine it in great detail.

STEP #9
- If the item is deemed genuine, the item is sent to you via registered mail.
- If it is a fake, we send it back to the seller and your credit card is fully refunded. You've just avoided buying a fake.
